My story

Believe it or not, I hate talking about myself.

So, I’m Teresa. I’m the one with the opinions.

I’m a hardcore beauty junkie. I love makeup, skincare, haircare, the works. I suck at doing my hair and I’m super lazy about it, but that’s another story entirely.

I started this blog in August 2017 for multiple reasons; first and foremost I needed an outlet for my creative energies. For as long as I can remember I’ve been the kind of person who needs to write on the regular. It doesn’t matter what I’m writing really, as long as the words are coming out of me. When I was a little kid I kept journals, but as I’ve gotten older I’ve gotten out of the habit, mostly because it’s really time-consuming. I’ve had other blogs in the past but never managed to keep them going for more than a few weeks at a time.

Secondly, I was hoping to share my knowledge with others. I’m constantly being asked by family and friends for product recommendations and how to do various things, like choose a foundation shade or blend eyeshadow. I was lucky to have a mom who taught me these things, but I realize that not everyone did. My goal is to be honest and informative; everything else is just gravy.
