Oh, look, another bonus post! This one is a little more lighthearted than last night’s.
I’m a little bit obsessed with this book. And yes, this is the basis for the James Franco movie that’s currently nominated/winning awards like whoa.
If you haven’t heard of or seen The Room, you need to. It’s amazing in the worst possible way. Generally regarded as the worst movie ever made, it’s attained cult status since it was released in 2003. It was directed, produced, written by and starred the incomparable Tommy Wiseau.
He is possibly the most ridiculous man who’s ever walked the Earth.
The book was written by Tommy’s co-star and long-time friend (or frenemy?) Greg Sestero. Greg played Mark, the main character Johnny’s (Wiseau) best friend who was also sleeping with Johnny’s fiance, which is the main point of conflict in the film. The whole movie is a literal disaster, hence the name, and with some behind-the-scenes perspective, it’s easy to see why it’s so awful.
I think I love The Room because it’s such a train wreck, so it’s not surprising that I love a book that gives the deep, dark secrets of how the train wreck happened. The movie version of the book was good but it’s a rare movie that’s better than the source material. I think Jaws is the only movie that’s ever been better than the book, to be honest.
Anyway, I digress; if you like The Room or you like disasters, I highly recommend this book. It’s relatively short and easy to read, and it’s available in multiple formats. I read it with my monthly Scribd subscription. If you haven’t heard of this service and you read obsessively I definitely recommend checking it out. They give you a free month, then it’s $10 per month, and they give you free months for getting friends to sign up. Unlike Kindle Unlimited (which I used to use), Scribd has newer releases and more popular books. They also don’t limit you to 10 titles out at a time. Their app is just as nice as Kindle’s too, and if audiobooks are more your jam, they have those too.

Heya this is kinda of off topic but I was wanting to know if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding knowledge so I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!

I honestly have no idea. I use WordPress.com and they basically do all of the hard things for me. There’s no manual coding required.

naturally like your website but you have to check the spelling on quite a few of your posts. Several of them are rife with spelling issues and I find it very bothersome to tell the truth nevertheless I will surely come back again.
